ESRA Faculty Member
Graduated from the Sahlgrenska Academy in Gothenburg Sweden. Moved to Linköping, another part of Sweden, to do my specialist degree in anaesthesia and intensive care. There I developed more and more interest in regional anaesthesa. I did some academic work, mainly focused on vascular and rheological effects of regional anaesthesia, which led to a poster prize at the ESRA meeting in Seville 2014. Since 2016 I'm back in Gothenburg, now working at a purely paediatric hospital where I have a leading role in regional anaesthesia, as well as vascular access and point-of-care-ultrasound.
I passed the EDRA exam in Lugano in 2017 and am now engaged in the ESRA Trainee's course in Porto, and as an EDRA examiner. I've also been heavily involved in the startup of the Swedish Association for Regional Anaesthesia, as well as the ESRA Nordic Zone.
