Edward MARIANO

Dr. Mariano is a Professor and Vice Chair in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Stanford University and Chief of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System. He has published over 275 peer-reviewed articles and is a recipient of the Veterans Health Administration’s John D. Chase Award for Physician Executives Excellence and Distinguished Service Awards from ASRA Pain Medicine and ESRA Spain. He has held leadership positions in the California Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and multiple journals including being the first Editor of Anaesthesia from the U.S.
