More than 30 years’ experience in Pediatric Anesthesia, PICU and pediatric pain. A long-standing interest in Regional Anesthesia both in children and adults, especially paravertebral and caudal blocks as well as adjunct use of alpha-2 agonists. More than 190 items on PubMed. Academic supervisor of twelve dissertation projects. Previous editorial board member of British Journal of Anesthesia and Section editor of Pediatric Anesthesia. Previous board member of the Pediatric subcommittee of ESA, European Society of Pediatric Anesthesia, Association of Pediatric Anesthesists of Great Britain and Ireland. Past-President of ESRA Nordic Zone. Founding father of Swedish Association of Regional Anesthesia (SFRA).
